I started Scholar Images because I was tired of the same old one-pose, half-smile school pictures.

With over 10 years of photography experience, I set out to create something better—high school and sports photography that actually shows personality and energy.

Our school portraits use multiple poses, creative lighting, and a fast turnaround. That means picture day is smoother for schools and more exciting for students.

The sports side? That started with my son. After photographing him year after year, I realized I could bring magazine-style sports portraits to teams and leagues—giving parents something way beyond the usual snapshots.

I grew up right here in Albany. I went to school here from elementary through high school. I take pride in serving this community.

My goal? Make the process simple for parents and unforgettable for students and athletes.
